I was given the photos and text and had to create a cohesive 8-page catalog in Adobe InDesign within three days. The goal was to practice page layout, typography, and learning how to manually build a professional catalog layout
Design Challenges: My biggest challenge was time. Since I had never designed a catalog before, I wasn’t sure if three days would be enough to complete it successfully.
Solution: I used parent pages in Adobe InDesign to keep the layout consistent throughout the catalog, along with paragraph and text styles to create cohesive typography and make edits more efficient.
Result: The final catalog came together as a clean and cohesive design that successfully balanced imagery, typography, and layout. Completing it within three days helped me improve my understanding of page design and become more confident using InDesign’s professional layout tools.
