Project Type: Editoral
Tools: Adobe photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign
Tasked with a rapid one-week turnaround, I developed a comprehensive spring catalog that honors Free People’s visual DNA. The project required a high level of discipline to ensure that the brand's signature style was translated effectively into a multi-page editorial format.
Design Challenges: The main goal was to maintain strict brand consistency across the typography, layout, and color palette from the first page to the last. I needed to find a balance between a bold, minimalist layout and the organic, creative energy that defines the Free People brand.
Solution: I implemented a structured grid system to keep the content organized and professional. This allowed me to manage the imagery and text efficiently under a tight deadline. By using a clean layout, I was able to create a sophisticated look that still let the brand’s natural and creative character shine through.
Result: The final result is a polished, professional spring catalog that functions as a cohesive brand piece. The use of a consistent grid and typographic hierarchy ensured the catalog remained easy to navigate while successfully capturing the free-spirited aesthetic of the brand across every page.
